As well as working as an international clinician and dedicating time to various charitable causes aimed at inspiring young people to take up playing the drums and get involved in music, Pat also runs Rhythmic Routes; a not for profit project which gets out into hard to reach areas and works with talented and gifted children between the ages of 8 – 13yrs, that otherwise don’t have the opportunity to spend time with a top-class working professional/s. Part of this project is working with parents and carers to help increase awareness and understanding of to how to support young musicians, as well as working with localised drum teachers to support their role in the local community.
In early 2016 Pat was invited on to the Board of Trustees of soundLINCS, the largest and leading not-for-profit community music organisation operating across the East Midlands.
